My sister and I moved a mobile home on to family property in the Summer of 2009.  Our goal is to create a haven for ourselves while also living frugally, green and with less stress.  My desire is to create an organic garden, a greenhouse and an oasis from the outside world. 

I love repurposing, reusing and recycling.  I will be posting about the wonderful things I create from found, vintage and cast off items.  I believe in functional art.  Art doesn’t have to just hang on the wall or be something that you stare at to appreciate.  It can be a fuctioning item that enhances your life, brings beauty and serves a purpose.
